Panasonic introduced a large-aperture medium-telephoto fixed-focal-length L-Mount lens, the LUMIX S 85mm F1.8 (S-S85). The lens is the first of four L-Mount lenses the company said it would release. The lens is comprised of 9 elements in 8 groups. The LUMIX S 85mm F1.8 also excels in video recording performance with a mechanism that suppresses focus breathing. The 355g lens has a filter diameter of 67 mm, with a 9-blade circular aperture diaphragm.
